This place is great because Food is really tasty Prices are reasonable Service was superb

This is by and far one of the best restaurants you will find in the halal scene here in Dallas, and likely one of the best you'll find amongst African cuisine and upscale dining. Owned and Operated every day since Day 1 by Chef Sulayman, he has poured years of experience into bringing the cuisine of his home to a wider audience. Service here is simple and efficient, and as nowhere is perfect, this holds the one downside - the wait time. Everything they make is fresh and scratch-made, so most dishes save their famous pies won't be coming out in under 20 minutes. If you're hungry, order ahead. As for the food, I have had the pleasure of sampling everything on the menu and I have enjoyed every single item, obviously some more than others. That is not an exaggeration, I have been here 20+ times over the last 2+ years and never left unsatisfied. If you're coming for the first time and new to the cuisine, the Chicken Yassa plus Shrimp Pie will set you right. For a more experienced foodie, get the Afra Dibi Lamb plus your choice of side and a Wonjo. So after all that love, what does it mean? Come here, now. Enjoy!

Awesome place to visit and minister worth the money to visit and share the Godspell I ecouragre u to visit Rock Earl

Wow these flavors are so delicious! Fufu was perfect. Ordered plantains and okra came with lamb chops. Definitely a must to come back!

Amazing food! Very friendly owner and staff. We had the lamb chops, beignets, shrimp pie, beef pie, West African Way Wings, and Benachin beef. Honestly the BEST tasting African food in the whole area that I've been to. The wings were very flavorful. We also got the chicken in a peanut butter sauce which was delicious. The pineapple ginger juice was refreshing to taste too. The pies with the red side sauce were the perfect texture and went well together. Beignets were not too sweet which was nice too. Lamb chops were tender and delicious as well. I wish I took pictures but the food was too good that I couldn't let the camera eat first haha! I will definitely be back, so stay tuned for pictures. Ambiance is pretty casual with some beats going on. We went on a Sunday early evening and it was pretty lowkey. Highly recommend!

A fantastic meal, and wonderful service! We had the lamb chops, beignets, shrimp pie, beef pie, West African Way Wings, and Benachin beef. The wings were very flavorful and seasoned. We also got the chicken peanut stew which was a must. The pineapple ginger juice was refreshing and zingy! The shrimp pies were the perfectly flaky and tender. Beignets were a perfect mix between sweet and savory. We'll defiantly be back for more!! Very casual and comfortable inside. Overall Highly recommend!

Came for dinner with a friend over the weekend and I can't wait to come back! We were seated immediately and started off with the pineapple ginger juice, absolutely delicious, perfect balance of citrus and spice with a touch of sweetness to keep you wanting more. I would buy a gallon of that to take home, I absolutely love ginger! For our appetizer I had a meat pie and it was freshly made, perfect size/amount of filling, and it was crispy and juicy and full of flavor - but the real star there is THE SAUCE!! I almost wanted to lick it off the plate it was soo good! For my entree I had the Benachin with beef, every bite was SO scrumptious I was doing my happy dance! The meat is tender and savory, the rice was packed with flavor and had just the right level of spice, it was also served with a mixture of sautéed onions and baby carrots that were soft and juicy and really brought everything together. I am so glad I had enough left over to enjoy it for a second time the next day! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, I will definitely be bringing more friends and family!

I got a little bit of everything, the food was so flavorful and filling, I don't think it can be finished in one sitting When I went, there was a little wait but the attendant gave us samples and was updating us throughout. The restaurant is also well set up and they also offered to allow us login to our Netflix so we could watch our show while we waited def my vibe!
